RE: The New Grizz II Build Up
Good looking cruiser there Grizz. Love the paint job looks better than the hammer tone. I've been looking on one of the other forums some guys got 2 60series for sale for $2000 for both. Ones licensed non turbo, the others unlic turbo, the lic ones got a small amount of rust around the rear window and is the same colour as grizz II used to be(cream). Only issue I got at the moment is no where to put them.

RE: The New Grizz II Build Up
Well yesterday I finally fixed the motor on the Grizz II.

Well actually Madmacca fixed it.
We stripped down the top end and replaced head gasket.
Replaced a few other gaskets as well..new thermostat too
Old mate macca is a thorough bugga.. he put alot of time and effort into cleaning all bits.
A real big THANKS MACCA.
I started the old girl this morning after fixing up the wire for the glow plugs and she sounded sweet.
It didnt stay that way for long though..
Fuel was choking through air in the system.
Checked everything couldnt find the problem.
Speaking to Ash and Russ at Perth 4x4 and they recommended I change my primer pump as the diaphragm's is prob rooted.
Done that...started it up and it seems to run good.
Big test tomorrow..go for a drive.
Thankfully I still got a spare motor here I can scavenge parts from.

So anyways while I've been off work I redone all my wiring to the back.
I"ve remounted the plugs at the back they are now in the rear pillar.
I've wired up the reversing camera so that all works.
Added some rear speakers for my stereo...loud as now.
Got a new trailer plug and mounted that in my bumper as the last one got ripped off at Toodyay.

So there you have it.

Once again a great big thanks to macca for his invaluable help.
Couldnt of done it without you old mate.

RE: The New Grizz II Build Up
A bit of an update

Bought myself a steel winch bar...
and a rear wheel carrier..
mounted them both
now it looks the part
found a great local place in Wangara that deals with new and s/hand cruiser parts

Cruiser Parts-- Steve 0414 350 961

He has a shed full of bits and pieces.

Also bought a 12000lbs winch just waiting on that to arrive
its one of those chinese import jobs but I thought for $500 I'll give it a go..apparently its the same place Ironman get theirs made.

Won myself a set of 170 striker lightforce spotties..I know what your thinking ..why the hell does Grizz need more spotties...but gonna take the ones off the roof and reconfigure them all.

Cheers to Coastals for that

So thats it..up to date now

Will post the pics when the winch is mounted
